These are my confessions…part II
If you’ve already read part I of my confessions, you already know I secretly read my horoscope and archetype reading every single morning. I get them emailed right to my phone, so it’s literally the first thing I read every morning. Today, this one spoke right to my soul. It’s like the stars really did align and write these words below. So confession, today’s devotional and gratitude journal was based on my reading from individualogist.com (see below, FYI I’m an Aries).
Be willing to assess or reassess your determination levels where a goal close to your heart is concerned. You've invested time, energy, and faith in a cause or pursuit of some kind. You might also wonder what your investment of each has brought you. But don't let pessimism creep in now. You're about to receive support where you need it. With this, a breakthrough is closer than you think.
From the moment I launched OWL coaching and OWL Podcast, I’ve done nothing but assess and reassess (probably too much) my level of determination to build a national platform that empowers women, shares (her)story with the world, and inspires others to give a hoot in their own community, while at the same time making an impact through life coaching. Some days it’s hard to feel like your investment is paying off. It’s easy to get caught up in all the other people that are super successful, and then there is you. That’s when the sabatours start to creep in, those little voices of self-doubt that start to question where you’re investing your time and whether it was really worth it. When I hear those voices, I invite the voices of gratitude to join us. The voice of gratitude reminds us that every door our investment has opened, every person you’ve met, the impact on the world that occurred as a result, all of it happened because you faithfully invested your time and energy in pursuit of something bigger than you.
What have you faithfully invested your time and energy in the pursuit of something? What opportunities presented themselves as a result of that investment? What do you need to express gratitude for, what has your investment created in world? Where are you currently feeling pessimistic about your investment? What needs to happen for you trust that everything you’ve been praying for is closer than you think? If you continued to faithfully invest your time and energy, trusting that this is the right direction to go, what would happen for you?
